Hold on Tight!

I have got so used to shooting zone and hyperfocal focus with my X70 and getting all I want in focus, I hardly have to think about it! This was a hip shot taken with the Fuji xt2 with the 35mm lens in auto focus and in P mode...a learning experience! I wanted to get used to the focal distance of the 35mm (crop sensor) vs the 18 mm (crop sensor) of my fixed lens Fuji X70. I definitely need to figure out zone focusing with the 35 mm. I am blown away by its sharpness, but need to control where it is sharp.

I love your boldness in taking these shots from the hip. I have tried a few times but always chop off the heads! Lol! I don't understand about zone focus? Is it different from hyperfocal focus. You may have to show me when I come to Chicago in April! Looking forward to meeting up! Fav!
