I spent the morning of Halloween wondering around Graceland Cemetery in Chicago with @taffy . This bronze figure entitled Eternal Silence by its creator Lorado Taft, marks the burial plot of Dexter Graves one of the first settlers in the Chicago area.
I meant to post this last night, but last December we moved and I had not realized how many trick or treaters we would have in our new neighborhood. The first little ghouls rang the doorbell at just before 4pm, and it was non-stop from there, until we eventually ran out of candy, and we had a lot!
