I really am enjoying the Weigela bush on our front patio. It's especially pretty this year with the variegated leaves and abundance of cream to pink blossoms. I was trying to portray a softness that I feel when I see it.
Ours is blooming nicely for its first season. For the longest time it was questionable whether it was going to do much this year, but then it took off. We were hoping for larger flowers.
I do think you captured the feeling of softness effectively. But I wonder if it might have benefitted from your characteristic square shape that would have eliminated the large are of green in the bottom right?
