Kinosaki willows by vankrey

Kinosaki willows

I was walking with the part of the Picture Japan group who wanted to view the crane sanctuary, when @taffy talked about how to capture the sense of the willows. They are such elegant trees, and inspired by Taffy's recent posting of the canal in Kinosaki, lined with hot spring baths, restaurants, bars, and inns, I came up with this to fill in some of my photos from that place. I wanted the sense of blur from the gentle breeze. Taffy suggested the yellow leaf, which I think breaks up the monotone greens.
