Thanks, Milanie and Kylie! It was also fascinating in color - all of the pillars were fairly light, and that one was damaged and had lots of moisture in it so it turned all dark, green and mossy.

love use of repetition in this photo. The black and white also makes this a very strong image. great photo!

@juleswuellner Thanks! I looked at it today in colour and "the day after" I also though that actually, the colour one works too. Theo only thing is - the castle fence is ugly yellow, not my favorite.

Great shot - love the use of depth of field to bring out this particular moss covered 'pawn'
