Busy day.... so kids to the rescue.
Thank you very much for your great reactions to yesterday's shadows photo. Somehow, today is also a black-and-white day. And, of course thank you for stopping by and commenting! I very much appreciate and value your input.
@sueb47@flowerfairyann Thank you so much for your comments! I am glad the concentration came through - that's what I wanted to capture - he was all focused on this "task"!
@shepherdmanswife Thank you, the light was the reason I turned it into black and white, as I liked how it hit the face and lit the profile! He is actually a 2.5 year-old "he" - it's those long eye-lashes that make him look a lot like a girl, plus the fact that he is rather petite and delicate in his "built" :) He tricks a lot of people that way! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
I like his concentration and perfect features - nose, ears, eyelashes all in lovely proportion, and beautiful skin. Your lighting touches his face gently
Thank you so much for commenting on the little painter! I am glad it turned out the way it did, and that the picture captured his concentration, so it was great to read that you could see it too in the photo.
And Clare - awww! Such a lovely description of my "other" creation, aka the kid himself. Thanks!
@lynbonn@btwebb Thank you so much, Lynda and Barbara! Since starting 365, I take less and less pictures of my kids, because it is just so hard, as I am figuring out. Now I am more aware of things that are "wrong" with the photo, and getting things more or less how I want them are much easier on the non-moving subjects. I was glad he was so focused on the task here that I could actually compose and take the picture the way I wanted it! Thanks!
