Something different today... Best on black.

It was hard to decide between a long-exposure waterfall and this one. But I can walk back to the waterfall tomorrow, I told myself :)
This part of Germany is Catholic, and there are little and big crosses and crucifixes along all the hiking, biking and walking paths all throughout the country side. Saw this on a hike today and liked how the sun was shining through the trees.

@gijsje Thank you for your comment, and for the follow as well! Normally, we are near Stuttgart for a couple of years, but now on vacation on the German-Austrian border in Bavaria. Which is a different world from our "usual" place.

@jyokota Exactly right. We are actually on the very border between the Bavaria and Austria - not too close to Munich, but as Bavarian as it gets. Thank you for your kind comment - what you mention is the exact reason I liked this photo - because it captured a memory of the place, and the piece of culture that so much tied to the region and the world view here.

Those were very relaxing 7 days, and this picture is such a great reminder of the vacation and the atmosphere there.
