We stopped at a scenic outlook this morning and were treated to this crazy sight - the sun was coming from behind a mountain, getting everywhere, even under the cloud that was covering the valley we were driving to. In the afternoon, almost nothing of this fog was left.
Thanks for stopping! I might have more pictures than usual today, but it's just because I am so in awe with all the sights on the first day.
Oh thank you very much for your wonderful comments and favs! This made it this picture go to the Popular page, and I am so glad because this place truly deserve to be there - no matter where you look, it's beauty! So much to disover, so much to see - and everything takes your breath away. Thanks!
@vera365 -- haven't been out there yet myself. And if that view promised to look like this next chance I have, I'd go for sure. But somehow, I think you made a rare capture.
@muriel@carla42@jyokota Thank you so much for your comments!
Junko - I agree, I might have captured this one unusual sight, but the fact is, the mountains are so changeable, they keep surprising us with the most interesting views no matter where we look.
@vera365 -- so true. I just got home from the Smoky Mountains and the mountain we faced from our cabin changed from moment to moment in such a way that I couldn't even grab my camera fast enough to capture it!
