We went to the spectacular Breitach-Gorge today. Heading home tomorrow, back to the neighbourhood photos :)
Having looked back at the pictures from the gorge, I am also tagging this one for the Get-Pushed challenge from Maj Manczak to take a photo depicting or symbolising "volatile". What I found so mind-blowing was that while the stones seem to be so stable and not changeable, it could not be further from the truth - only at the end of 1990s, this gorge was blocked completely by a 30m high wall of rocks that fell off the cliffs, with the water finally breaking through and reshaping the whole landscape (and demolishing all the human-build structures, by the way). So, volatile it is!!!!
