Yesterday, my selfie-making in the park was interrupted by loud music. I looked and saw this - the first parade of the carnival time, where witches and monsters come out to "rule the town" till Easter. They walked through town with lots of silliness, loud music and lots of candy for the kids, proceeded to the palace grounds (which was being protected by the historic guard), took over the palace, put their own princess in, changed the flags and declared the city in their power till Ash Wednesday. What a treat it was :) There was no way I could put it all into one picture. My favourite though is the little witch on the left.
