Not much going on here. Just waiting for the kid to finish his swimming lesson, staring at the kiddi pool next to the one "big" kids get to swim in. I like it more on black - brings out the lines.
Thank you for visits, comments and critique. It's always an inspiration to read your thoughts and opinions. Thanks!
Such interesting intersection of lines, and I agree with @mingr about the stillness to the image.
I'm going to be in Munich for a couple of days in early March, then making my way to Münster to give a talk. I'm trying to decide between flying and taking a train -- are you on the way if I take the train? Would be fun to do a photowalk . . .
The interior feels as calm and quiet as the outside. The interior emotional cold connects with the cold temperature outside. It's winter on both sides of the windows. Well seen and executed.
@jyokota How exciting! I still can't wrap my head around all the trips around the world you are taking! I would love to show you around if that would be possible. I checked out the train connections, and it looks like there are different routes - if you were to take the ICE train that goes through Stuttgart, that would be entirely my way. (some of the trains go from Munich to Frankfurt, but some go from Munich to Stuttgart, and then up towards Mannheim etc... ). We live 20 mins with the local train north of Stuttgart, so the possibilities would be - either I can meet you in Stuttgart, or you would just switch trains and come to see the Ludwigsburg. Email me at vera.irwin@gmail.com - we can see what is possible.
