First of all..... my hat off to Iceland. What a treat that game was!
The pictures are from the game before - Italy vs. Spain. Our house is right next to the major celebration mile in town, and after each game, there is celebratory driving (or traffic jamming, depending on the importance of the game and the size of the corresponding country's expat community in Germany), honking, flag waving and chanting. You can't miss that there is a major soccer tournament going on. I used the Italian fans for the subject today. :)

@phil_howcroft I almost gave up watching at the half time - too much tension, but I just could not. Had to get a drink at the half time to be able to watch the rest. And when it happened, I don't even think I cared that it looked weird that a Russian living in Germany, married to an American would jump around and scream with joy when Iceland beats England!!!
