Sorry for the graphic bloody image - our vet took it after both of us performed the first aid rituals on our arms and hands. Quality wise, it's just a snapshot with a cell phone, but I had to post it as my memory of the day. As we were first looking for a vet in Germany, I told her we have a VERY agressive, almos feral animal. She was not afraid and indeed, she managed to be his vet for 4 years without even getting a scratch. Not today. I guess he is also on the ede with all the changes, and it all came to a release at the vet's office. Despite looking so bloody, no terrible harm as done - some deep scratches on arms and hands. I felt so bad about all of that, and she kept saying - "You don't worry, it's all a part of my job!" And he DID get his shots. She is definitely getting the biggest bunch of flowes that I can find, that's for sure.
Lol, poor you and poor M, it's a lot of stress! My kitty who is very sweet becomes totally mad when we go to the vet, or even when we want to cut his claws.
Oh my, why does such a picture make me smile? I feel sorry for M, that he has to go through this movement thing. But he made it good, and leaves some marks/scars in good old Germany. This vet will not forget him. (Oh, and speedy recovery for the vet).
Wow that looks as though Kitty nearly won! My dog has a different technique. I took her yesterday, she spotted a sliding door at the back of the surgery and simply opened it and walked out!
We have to give one of our cats flea drops and I dress in battle gear, leather gloves, heavy work coat and catchers mask, then go looking for the cat :-)
