Russian Revolution, Part I by vera365

Russian Revolution, Part I

Somehow we went by a lot of historical things today that have to do with the Russian Communist Revolution of 1917 (Hard not to, as Saint Petersburg was the showplace of it). This is the battleship Aurora that allegedly fired the canon shot that served as a signal to the start of the uprising. Freshly out of the restoration, at its usual place in town, serving as a museum.
Thanks for visiting!
One of my favourite cities.

Very cool. I always wanted to visit there when we were in Europe but we didn't make it that far east.

I like the combo of the battleship and building in the background.
