Nice action shot! So did you know these people? I know this sounds weird but I struggle to take pictures of adults... even ones I know. I guess that is because I started learning how to properly use my camera when my oldest was born and my girls are my favorite subjects. That said, did you just whip your camera out and snap this photo? did you say anything to them?
I guess that is what the 365 is about, branching out and trying new things. I will take some photos of "grown ups" by the end of the week. You have inspired me!
@yet I am glad I did! I absolutely did not know these people - I was walking with my kids around town (I find that walking with kids and a camera makes me less threatening). These people were pretty far away - we were watching them as the dog was going crazy, and the lady in the red jacket actually was too. I had my camera out already, and I have a pretty long zoom (up to 300) on my camera most of the time. I noticed the colors, and lifted my camera taking a couple of pics, but the ISO was too low. So I quickly adjusted it, and then - since I was already taking time to get a shot, also stopped and really focused on them. I don't think they noticed - but if they would, I would have just smiled at them. They didn't look like they would mind - they were in such a good mood. (Unlike one guy today, who walked through one of my shots and clearly said - nope, don't take picture of me. I didn't intend to, so I just told him not to worry, I was photographing a store front).
@yet Oh, and yes - I am also terrified of taking pictures of strangers, so I never set of thinking I will take one. Sometimes, there are just thise "right" moments - and looking back through my projects, these are some of my favourite photos.
