Currants

Not much photography that day - just the two buckets of red and black currant we got as a treat.
Now what are you going to do with this culinary treat! Top and tailing is necessary unless you are making blackcurrant cordial as my mother did long ago.

@maggiemae The Black ones got cleaned out, squished in the pot with a bottle as a stomper, and mixed up with sugar - you can keep them like that, a sort of a non-cooked jam, eaten with tea in Russia. Red ones might become a jelly. Or a fruity drink.
