Just because I am proud of myself - usually focusing is not my strength, so today in the park, I practiced with this very compliant, but horribly quick squirrel and actually got a couple of shots that I am happy about. But, to sum up - the squirrels are still much faster than my camera and my reaction :)
@roulin Процентов 15-20 отрезано сверху и слева - там много ненужного места оказалось. Я не ожидала, что так хорошо сфокусируется - везде пишут, что для хорошего фокуса не нужно выкручивать zoom до предела. Спасибо!
@roulin Я вообще пока этот объектив не всегда понимаю - то он больше затемняет, чем ожидаешь, то искривляет горизонтали (посередине уже, а по краям расширяются) и с DOF я еще не все поняла. Почти как маленький ЛОМО-фотик, который у меня когда-то был - не знаешь, что получится.
Dear all, thank you so much - I completely forgot to check on and than you all for the comments the dirty-hands-squirrel since it was not in my main album! I didn't expect it to get so much positive attention! I am glad you all enjoyed it, thank you for your comments and favs! It was also a pleasure to photograph her/him, with all those fluffy ears and the bright red color coming back after the grey winter. A couple or two more of session like this and my squirrel-focus might not be a mostly random thing anymore! :) Thanks!
