A stop at the hands-on open-air museum of historic mining in the afternoon. Loads of pictures of smiling children hitting stones with hammers trying to get the "sparkly stuff" are heared for Facebook for relatives, but I liked this one looking out from the inside of a small, but still blood-chilling mine. Cold, wet, tight and dark. If you think how hard the work was turning over and carrying out bags and bags of stones, you are happy you don't have to do it as a dayjob.
