.... and we are going back to the US after 4.5 years here. Today, I was showing the town to friends who are visiting and it was painful to think that we are going to leave it all soon, pack up and move.

Gorgeous shot. Always sad to move on, but think of the new adventures ahead. We have moved 16 times and lived in three different countries. No more moves for us now though. Enjoyed every minute of it.
It would be so sad to leave such a great place. But imagine the adventures you will have in the US. I too have moved many times, and love exploring the new countries and cities.

I remember your post about saying that there, everything is connected, rather than each place being a 'station' in the US and you're right, I know you will miss that. Hopefully you are moving to an interesting place where you will find lots of great things to do...
