Awaiting the storm... by vignouse

Awaiting the storm...

This house - a former mill - borders on one of over 20 lakes in the Brocéliande Forest and this lake, like all the others is bursting its banks. The sky was threatening a storm and more heavy rain as I took this photo, and by the time I had paddled back to my car (the road was already awash) it had started... again.

A beautiful composition, Richard. The tree next to the house is amazing. Stay on high ground and will be thinking of you and your community.

Love the b and w. I had to look again to find the lake- I thought it was a field.

I commented on both of them. I think this bw is far superior to the first. You weren't doing mostly bw then.
