Slipping anchor: looking back. by vignouse

Slipping anchor: looking back.

Yesterday's image 'Slipping anchor ahead of the storm...' attracted a lot of comment - thank you for your interest. It is a view looking forward from the port side of the Brittany Ferries vessel 'Armorique' as it left its berth en route from Portsmouth to Caen-Ouistreham in Normandie, France.

I thought it might be interesting today to complete the picture, as it were, with this shot taken immediately after yesterday's, but looking in the opposite direction. This image is a view over the stern starboard quarter of the vessel as she leaves her moorings behind... but not the storm clouds!
Another lovely clear image and all aspects covered nicely!
