Get Pushed 127: Hollywood Star

My get-pushed partner for this week - Nancy @nanderson - said: " How about showing us if you were in Hollywood...this is what kind of movie star you would be".

Well Nancy, if I was in Hollywood I would play the older-than-time Wizard or Sorcerer in a Gothic Fantasy movie, poring over the Ancient Book of Runes in order to solve the Aeons Old Mysteries.

Here I am in a publicity still from my latest movie.
@nanderson Hi Nancy - I managed to find time at the last moment to do your challenge... I hope this meets with your approval. I had fun... but now I've got to clear up the guest bedroom!

@cdonohoue @kt8ird @trinda @hjbenson @kellymansulich A number of you commented on 'The Book of Runes' - in reality it's called "Ars Sacra: Christian Art and Architecture of the Western World from the very beginning up until today". It's a wonderful book; 800pp and it weighs 10 Kg (22 lbs)!

Super Richard. I can see you playing such a part! Although I enjoy watching and reading fantasy I would play the moll in a 30s gangster film (or would have when I still had the figure!) I love your capture. If I could give it more than one fav I would.
January 5th, 2015
@ceilidh Margaret Obey - a Gangster's Moll - who'd have thought it... but now that I look, you do have a certain twinkle in your eye!

January 9th, 2015
Always admire the range of your photographic talent - to say nothing of your acting talent, too. Really suits the processing = HDR?
January 9th, 2015
Jo
This is brilliant Richard, very creative and beautifully executed.
January 9th, 2015
So so so so good! Fav and congrats on TT!!!!
January 9th, 2015
@jocasta Hi Joy, thanks for your generous comments. Not HDR, no - but I processed it to have high mid-range structure which is what gives HDR its charecteristic look. The main effect was achieved by applying a Hardlight filter at about 15 pixels radius and then changing the blending mode to softlight, I finished off by applying a 30% gaussian blur to add a bit of glow to the image.
January 9th, 2015
@jocasta ... and it's split-toned orange and blue for a cinematic look.
January 9th, 2015
Congratulations on the TT Richard, not at all surprised.
January 9th, 2015
as I have just told Babs and Paula hahaha I do not usually comment about the TT but I just love this and am thrilled to see it there Richard
January 10th, 2015
Congratulations on making the front page of the website and apparently I need to check out the TT. Whoop whoop! So far behind and glad to see your recognition. Very well deserved!
January 10th, 2015
@kt8ird Thank you kind lady... it is nice to feel that you are making progress.
