In the last week, 'tout 365' seems to have borrowed, bought, begged or stolen a fisheye lens and produced some fabulous images with them. All this alternative activity prompted me to dig mine out of the camera bag and so here's my much more modest offering - a very small sample of some of the snowdrops covering the bank opposite our front door, with a crowning glory of daffodils. You can see from the sky what glorious weather we had today... most unseasonal.
I've never seen a hillside of snowdrops before and now I know how they got their name!!! How lucky you are to see soo many and how beautiful they all are!!! What a view you have!!! FAV!
Wonderful shot of all those pretty snowdrops! Love the pop of yellow daffodils and that beautiful blue sky with those great clouds. I might not have noticed the fisheye effect had you not mentioned using your lens. It does add a neat subtle effect.
@whimsicalgrateful I increased clarity for the entire image which has sharpened the edge definition some, but the sky is pretty much the way it was... indeed, the amazing sky is why I chose this PoV.
Stunning fish eye shot and such wonderful detail. You always manage to get this great focus and detail in all your shots Richard. It's something I aspire to but way to go yet!
Its a fabulous pov and made me smile when I saw it on the PP. Now I am jealous that I do not have a fisheye - might have to try the wide angle this weekend ....fav
Yes, and a lot of 365ers have posted snowdrop shots.....it seems that the ground is coming alive with these flowers that are somewhere between snow cover and spring awakening! Glorious shot! Have been thinking of getting a fisheye.....what do you use?
