The local hunt were in full cry this afternoon in pursuit of a stag; at the time I saw them, the hounds were circling having lost the scent - a state of affairs I was quite happy with!
This is an attempt (failed I think) to create an image in a style which certain 365ers have made their own... it's harder than it looks to get right.
Excellent shot - on the day that the hunting ban came into force in the UK my lovely wife was driving to work and managed to use her Vauxhall cavalier to completely and utterly obliterate a fox from the face of the planet. No hunting on horse back but we can still use our cars!
Wonderfully light and active. I'm glad, too, the hounds were confused. Strangely enough my husband came back from his bike ride this evening with a pheasant. He had spooked it up and it flew into the power line. He was happy as he likes wild game, but he'll have to do the cooking.
I used to follow the hunt at home when I was little - until I realised what they we're hunting. They took a deer from the demense where the big house from mum's birthday was, and freed it to hunt.
I like this!! It's blurry but still you know exactly what it is!! Very nice action. I'm glad they lost the scent, I hate to know they chased the poor Fox to death!! Great photo and processing though!! FAV!
It's really hard to get the blur just right....and, have it become a style.....I do admire the ones here who have mastered it! This is a wonderful action shot!
