This is another for the 30 Days Wild challenge: these are the exposed roots of a tree that is growing right on the edge of a 3 metre high vertical rocky bank, so these roots descend vertically into the softer soil below. I like the contrasting textures between the roots and the rock.
Love when you surprise me. Of course you liked the contrast and I liked the things I could picture in the roots, like the child's book bear sitting and leaning.
