NF-SOOC-2015 Day 14: The River Drome after the Storm by vignouse

NF-SOOC-2015 Day 14: The River Drome after the Storm

This is the River Drome pictured from our camp-site today, running a little more swiftly than usual after yesterday's storms. Less violent though than a few years ago when the bridge that you can see was swept away seconds after a school bus had passed over!

This is my fourteenth image for NF-SOOC-2015 - you can read about it here - http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/26200/back-to-basics-nf-sooc-2015
That looks such a strong bridge to be swept away! The power of water! The high mountain ridge sits nicely at the back of this great view!

Excellent shot, looks like a lovely part of the country to wreak havoc in - I have a slight terror about raging rivers though so I think I'll stay away
