The Judges by vignouse

The Judges

This was by way of a challenge both artistic and technical - it is a photo of the judges at our photo club meeting this evening, deliberating on members' photos. The only light was that of the video-projector reflected from the screen about 10 metres away and the photo was taken hand-held without stabilisation - 1/10 sec at ISO 4000, using the new Fuji XT10.

I like this best viewed on black...
they look pretty serious!!!

I know that scene well, camera club comps! Super capture, fav. Do you like the Fuji X10? I've been thinking of getting into that system, lighter than normal SLRs like my Pentax and it's big lenses!

@ivan Thanks Ivan: I appreciate your comments and the Fav... except that you forgot to push the * - could you give it another try please - thanks. As for the XT10 - it's an excellent little camera and superb value for money and you can see how it handled the low-light situation above at ISO 4000. I use it when I want to travel light, like going out for a run on my motor-bike.

Fascinating looking at the different expressions.

@vignouse Hi Richard I've pressed the button! Thanks for the information about the XT10, I'd like to carry less camera kit weight, so I'll have a close look at it.
