The Great Tits were busy chasing the Blue Tits away from the feeders this lunchtime. This one sat high up on the pergola and looked like he was the Director of Operations. The Blue Tits got their turn later.
This is an excellent capture Richard ... it is fun to watch the antics of the different tits, isn't it? There is a definite pecking order, that's for sure!
Whilst I support the view that the animal world doesn't share the same emotions as us, this shot illustrates that its member certainly don't suffer much or many on 'their' manor.
