I seem to have fallen into the habit at the beginning of each month, when I change to a different prime lens, of posting a shot of the camera and lens I shall be using for my main PLAY album posts - I didn't do it yesterday so I'm rectifying that today. This is the Sony NEX-7 and 16mm (24mm F/F equivalent) lens.
@taffy@darylo Well i bought this one in 2012 and I also have a NEX-6 but neither of them have had much use. As you say Taffy, the menu system is indeed rather 'characterful' but they do make an easily carried walk-around pair when coupled with the 10-18mm f/4 and the 16-70mm f/4 which are both great lenses if rather expensive... here in Europe at least. The later models, especially the A6500 with its backlit CMOS sensor and five-axis stabilisation, are very competent cameras but require a significant investment.
I can't bring myself to get rid of mine - but then I never get rid of anything (!) - or upgrade... at the moment. Most of my photography is done with my Fujis at the moment - also mirrorless but very different beasts to the Sonys. Have fun deciding....
