Campsite camaraderie came to the fore today as an impromptu group of guys came together to look at the damage to our motor-home/RV that I described in yesterday’s post. Opinions were offered, suggestions were made, followed by a visit to the local DIY store. Come the end of the afternoon the rear-light assembly was once more in its proper place... and functioning perfectly ;-))
After yesterday's drama and trauma, to be all ticketty boo in fewer than 24 hrs is a gift! The aforementioned camarades were swift, serene and sincere in rendering help without interference or judgement. We meet some remarkable people...and it’s important how much they do in trying situations. The chances of meeting them again is remote; their willing assistance will not be forgotten.
So good to hear of such positive experiences like these, revives one's hopes for the human species. I'm not religious, but firmly believe in 'do unto others …'. I also believe in karma.
