A Year of Days: Day 5 - The year begins for real...
Today feels like the real start of the new year, the decorations have been taken down, the festivities have largely come to an end and the daily routine of 2015 is waiting in the wings. I have seven meetings to attend this week, four of them at Paimpont Abbey, the first of which was this evening. This is the photo that I took on leaving to go home for dinner - handheld at ISO 3200.
I know what you are talking about. Just got back to work after 5 days off so my 2015 really starts today too. Really like your photo and how nicely the lit building stands out in the darkness.
Everyone has everything down and I am still working on my. Trying to organize. Oh well, I'll get there. I am enjoying being back on my normal schedule. We look forward to the holidays and then am happy to return to our routines. Guess you need some to break away from the routine to appreciate it. As ever I love the abby. I feel I could drive down a road not knowing where I was and know the minute I saw this building.
