A Year of Days: Day 6 - Crêche Housekeeping

Two more meetings today; the afternoon one, like yesterday, was in Paimpont Abbey. When we had finished, I popped into the Chapelle de St. Mathurin, which is also the Baptistry, to check that the Crêche was still in good order, which it was. We will take it down at the end of the week and as we arranged it completely differently this year, I took a photo to serve as a reference for when we come to put it in place for Christmas 2015!

The background photo is the original visitors entrance to the Abbey grounds and the building housed visitors accomodation. The archway (known as La Porche) is cut out and it is through here that the three Kings enter our Crêche scene and advance towards the stable, arriving today - Epiphany.

@essiesue Thank you Sue... the standing figures are about a foot tall, or perhaps a shade more.

I agree that the background image adds interest to this.
