A Year of Days: Day 85 - Paimpont Post Office (rear view)
I was in the village this afternoon to run some errands and when I had finished I took a walk to make the most of the sunny afternoon. This is a view that most people pass by as it's the back of the village post-office. Once-upon-a-time, the village postmaster would have lived above the shop but it has been shuttered up for many years as now only the ground floor is in use, and for only three mornings a week. For a utility building, it looked nice in the afternoon sun.
Oddly enough, I've never noticed the skew whiff lamp on its post before! A timely reminder to look beyond, below and above the immediate field of vision. Thank you! Gotta be a fav for that.
