It's been a mixed day today with showers on and off; it cleared up mid-afternoon only to become dull, gloomy and wet again at dusk. Our house, like most French houses is fitted with shutters (traditional wooden ones in our case) and here's Mrs S closing them this evening to keep out the murk... or keep in the warm welcoming glow, as you prefer!
