A Year of Days: Day 92 - Mrs S' s Patchwork Project
After making patchwork quilts, tablecloths and picnic rugs for various members of the family, Mrs S is at last doing something to keep - a patchwork tablecloth for our kitchen table. All the 105 squares are complete - each consists of 8 separate rectangles of fabric sewn together - and now the squares must all be sewn together. But first they have to be arranged into a pleasing pattern and here they are all laid out on the guest bed for that very purpose. The layout has changed several times today... no doubt it will change several times again tomorrow!
