Whenever I buy a new camera or a new lens (not that it's a daily occurrence!) I always make a point of ensuring that the first photo I take with it is of Mrs S. I've been curious about the Fuji range with the X-Trans sensor for some time mainly because it always gets glowing reports for image quality... but also because I'm a self-confessed gadget freak! Anyway, Fuji's first interchangeable lens camera with the X-Trans sensor, the X-Pro 1, is due soon to to be replaced by a new model, so I finally succumbed to an irresistible offer of the old model with three prime lenses at less than 40% of the launch price. Here's the first photo, taken using the 35mm f/1.4 lens (52mm FF equivalent) - a snap of Mrs S in her office this afternoon.
