This is one of the gift shops in the walled city of Carcasonne - selling overpriced tat for the most part... IMHO! This gentleman runs a shop specialising in jewellery for bikers... I liked the counter-play between his expression and posture and the poster.
Lots of things to love about this photo, but I really zeroed in on the Route 66 sign over the door. I grew up on Route 66 -- literally, as the road was about 3 feet from the wall of my grandparents house next door to me -- in Tucumcari, NM. Have to fav this one.

Looks like your "A year of days" has been found and is receiving lots of applaud. I feel like people have stumbled upon one of my secret pleasures because this series are so wonderful and different from your 365. More personal and intimate.
@joansmor I would have published this for my main shot but it needed an edit so it became my diary shot but opened to public viewing, hence the comments... there's normally only a handful of people see these.
