My Get Pushed partner for this week - Joy @jocasta - gave me this challenge: " I challenge you to show me something that has made you particularly happy on your trip to the UK."
Unfortunately, by the time I saw the challenge I was already on my way back to France so no chance to shoot a picture especially for it.
There was one thing that made me very happy though, and that was picking my granddaughters up from school the day before I left. As luck would have it, I took a couple of snaps as we walked back to the house, to have a memento of the occasion. This is a family photo then rather than a deliberate response to my challenge, but it was taken on my trip to the UK, in the time period of the challenge... and it did make me very happy.
A beautiful photo of your granddaughters - the eyes are superb and it has such a calm feel. The light is lovely but what tops it for me is your granddaughter's splendid hat.
@karengail Thank you Karengail; I've no idea how you come to be looking at this so long after it was posted but I enjoyed the chance to look at this pic again and think about my two girls who I don't see often enough.
