PLAY February - Fuji 18mm f/2: Sitting or Strolling...
... the lakeside path at Paimpont is a pleasant way to while-away an hour or so - especially when the sun shines.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for February it's the Fujinon 18mm f/2 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-Pro1) - the equivalent of a 28mm lens on a full-frame camera.
I like this one for its peaceful feeling and the way the figures are semi-hidden in the shadows. It conveys a sense of use but privacy in the space. BTW, I just started planning a rather last minute (May) trip to France. We have friends we are visiting in Vaison and are thinking about spending some time in Uzes. I know this is a really broad question, but do you have any thoughts about that as our base and the surrounding area? We'd had lunch there a few years ago and thought it was charming. But we aren't locked into anything. If you'd rather respond off line, my email is teraphael 'at' gmail 'dot' com.
