PLAY May - Sony 16mm f/2.8: Rainy Afternoon Drama

I liked the way that this dead tree seemed to take on a presence as the sky grew angrier by the minute. The threatened rain came five minutes later and left Mrs S and me soaked

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for May it's the Sony 16mm f/2.8 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Sony Nex-7) - the equivalent of a 24mm lens on a full-frame camera.
There is something about this tree that is hypnotic.........I can't take my eyes from it. fav

Tree stands out like a flasher on a city street.

I enjoyed something similar in Rome on my motorcycle yesterday... the rain, not the dead tree ;-)

Wonderful shot, love dead trees but what I see doesn't always translate to a good photo, fav
