Project 52: Week 40 - Mrs S XT2'd

I have a tradition that whenever I get a new camera or lens, the first shot is always of Mrs S. The courier service delivered my new Fuji XT2 this morning and this was the first shot I took with it... Mrs S was standing in the kitchen and when I called her name, she looked up at me - and click!

Acros film simulation at ISO4000 and kit lens wide open at f/4 and 55mm - this is the sooc Jpeg unprocessed apart from a square crop. (I had the clock wrong by 12 hours - I had set PM instead of AM!)
May you both be very happy together. (That's you and the XT2 - now you have your exotic new toy Mrs S will be lucky to get any of your attention again!)

Richard good choice. I just traded my XT1 for an XT2. Awesome camera!

I look barely conscious! Need to keep a safe distance from this new toy.

Congratulations on the new camera. Knowing some of your photos, I don't think it's the camera that caused the photo to turn out so well.

I look forward to seeing how you get on with the XT2 and what your observations are about it.

@ukandie1 I don't suppose it will get much use until I've finished my Ocoloy project but my early opinion is that it will be necessary to understand in some depth all its functions and facilities to really get the best out of it. I'm thinking of things like the wide choice of tracking options for different types of subject movement. This first photo was literally a snap and represents barely half the frame... not bad for ISO 4000!
