Project 52: Week 41 - Rochefort en Terre

This medieval Breton village was recently voted as the French village the most liked by the French... and listening to the conversations in the street today, by lots of other nationalities too. Today was dull and rainy so there were fewer visitors than usual which made photography a little easier.

This pops nicely viewed on black!
This looks like a fairy tale! Fav!

Picture perfect!

VML the grittiness of this. Given that I was there too, a shot such as this never occurred to me. Needs must look more and see the 'shot'. Way to go....

I love the b&w so know I would LOVE it even more in color. This place is surely a photographers paradise. The detail you have captured in the photo is what I continue to strive for. Excellent photo and definite fav.

This image has so many levels to explore. B&W fits this very well.

I like this well enough in b&w, possibly because of the textures in the cobbles and the bricks. Like the composition too, and the way the street leads your eye into the photo. We have 12 of the 'Plus Beaux Villages de France' in the P.O., but frankly most are tourist traps and are disappointing. But this villaage looks well worth visiting.
