Today seemed to last forever at work. Don't you just hate those days when everything seems to drag? It left me feeling a little lethargic and lacking in the inspiration department. I looked around the house for something of interest, and settled on this hand fan.
I don't think this photo is great, and I think it could be focused better. In post-processing I increased the exposure to the bottom-right of the image and decreased it to the top-left.
We have a few hand fans around the house. They were invented by the Japanese and were exported to China and then Europe, and still play a notable role in East Asian culture. By the way, today's photo is my 65th picture, which means I have exactly 300 left to go! The thought of that is quite intimidating...
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
