I feel much better today. I'm still bunged up and have a mildly sore throat, but I'm not all achy. Suman and I went for a meal, but when I got home I felt very tired suddenly, so I had an evening nap for the second consecutive day. I woke up and it had gone 9pm, so to perk up I had a cup of tea and then got a wine glass out. Not to drink mind; I was determined to shoot something with it, considering my failure to do so yesterday.
In the end the lack of time and preparation left me with little choice but to run the glass under the tap. The battery ran out on my camera so I didn't have the widest selection to choose from, but I'm moderately pleased with this considering. Perhaps I'll try this again in the future and try to achieve a more professional finish.
A fortnight ago a website asked for permission to mention my blog ( http://vikdaddy.blogspot.com/). I mentioned it here but had forgotten all about it. Anyway, I was looking at camera bags on Amazon and I found one I was interested in. Like most things I buy, I search for reviews first, and coincidentally one of the reviews was by the same guy who emailed me from the same website. I went to the homepage and there's the article about 365 projects, and a whole paragraph is about me and my blog ( http://www.shutterphoto.net/article/gain-focus-with-year-long-photo-projects/)! Thanks Photoshutter.net!

This is stunning - I love the way the water forms circles on the glass, and the black and white is gorgeous - and I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. :)
Good news on the article business, nice shot here.. Notice it was with the 50mm... Mine has never turned up (bloody ebay) so complaints have been logged..!
And congrats on getting your blog mentioned-very cool!
And congrats on the shoutout in the article :)
