I spent much of the day with a pal of mine, and caught a film. I watched 'The Fighter', an old-fashioned boxing story starring Mark Whalberg and an excellent Christian Bale. I got back fairly late from the cinema and had a pizza with Suman and her two younger sisters, who are staying for the weekend. They were playing Singstar, the karaoke game on the PS3.
Because it was late I just took a few photos of Suman's youngest sister Cerise belting out a few tunes. On the rare occasions I play I sing awfully but get excellent scores, mainly because I know how to get the points if not the notes!
Today is a project milestones, of sorts. It's day 265, which means I have a hundred photos left to take. That comes as a relief to be honest; with a new job on the horizon and other things to think about, I just want to complete the project so I don't need to think about taking a photo every day. Don't get me wrong, at times I really enjoy it, but at other times I just despair at the thought!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

I like this photo, but part of the reason I like it is that the lighting gives her a bit of an "Evil Genius Bent On Taking Over The World" sort of look....But that's just me.
I love this! you caught an image perfectly at the cusp of two roads of possibilities...the look conveys a balance between "I am about to rock out this song! "or the emotion of" I am incredibly nervous about preforming in front of this audience"...which of the two is up to the viewer... fantastic back story and the lighting and capture is most excellent...hitting fav
nice capture sir!
