I've had a bit of a lazy day today. I woke up with a hangover after last night's drinking session, so I didn't want to do much anyway. Suman and I cancelled any plans we had, and I thought I'd take this opportunity to pop out for a quick sunset shoot.
I drove to the nearby gas works, scene of my photo from day 217. The sunset wasn't particularly pretty today, so I concentrated on the gasometers themselves instead.
In post-processing I increased the clarity and contrast, and made the colours more vibrant.
Something puzzled me during my shoot. Something was different from my last time here. Well, I've just looked at my photo of the gas works that I took last December, and it's that the gasometers were raised the other way around back then ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/5274164705/). I couldn't put my finger on it at the time!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

err...I thought they raise up out of the ground as and when they fill with pressure from the gas etc, thus that will mean this one is filled up and the other is'nt? I know thats how some of the are deisgned...
And how perceptive of you to notice that difference!! Hope you're feeling better ;)
