An apple a day

My first try to create a black background without to much post editing. My problem: No external flash and no softbox. Quit happy with the result, even though the flash is to strong on the front of the apple.

you nailed it and it looks really fab on black because the apple is just suspended on the screen.

Great effort, esp with limited editing and no flash/soft box. Cld also maybe try diffuser (can be home-made) on flash?
