There are a lot of ruined houses around the Outer Hebrides. It is a declining population.

Sad! Must've been a lovely little cottage. Why the decline? Moving to the cities?

@marlboromaam Generally off the islands and to the mainland and to towns and cities. It's very beautiful, but very hard to make a living. Mainly farming and tourism . It is sad.

Lovely. When I see ruins like this I can't help but wonder about the lives of the people who must have lived there - and who owns it now.
