Over 2 years ago my husband got a speeding ticket in a small town while taking my son to college. He always maintained he was not going the speed they claimed so he vowed to fight it. He has been to court 3 times. The last 2 times they tried to negotiate a deal with him but he maintained his innocence so they said they would notify him of his court date. Today he went back for the 3rd time, everyone else there made a deal and paid their money. Since he wasn't making a deal, they made him wait until last (2 1/2 hrs) but his patience and persistence paid off. The officer was in court but said he didn't have any notes on the ticket so they let him off. Hooray! Think I would have just paid the darn thing.
