I think this was one of the simplest setups of all my light painting shots. I used a string of battery powered christmas lights, a glass pot, and long exposure, around 15 seconds. Fairly small aperture. f25 in this case. I focussed manually on the light before starting to shoot. Then just swirled the light in the pot first the outside. Only took 2 takes to get this shot.
Also used a single light source (one led light) in anotehr take. Link below. Since this is on Facebook, the link may not work. Let me know if you have any more questions.
